Why I Don’t Knit
This is the back of a poncho for Daughter. I started it in September. Five months ago (FIVE!!). Jess fixed it once. And I’m still working on it. But I have to hurry because she keeps growing faster than I can knit.

it looks great! hurry, spring will be here soon!
Perfect for spring, you’re right on time,. She wouldn’t have worn it in December 🙂
Ummm, five months or not- looks fantastic! I can’t knit at all. I tried to knit a little monster one time from the “easy” section of a craft book- it was painfully ugly….looked nothing like the picture and my gosh made me realize knitting is not my cup of tea!
Jess is right, she wouldn’t have worn in in Dec/Jan. It will be great for spring. It took me 6 mo to knit a super simple dress for E. The nice thing about knitting is you can put it down and come back to it when you’re ready. Also, I always knit at least a size above what the kids are wearing so the pressure of getting it done now doesn’t crack me.
